it's beginning to look a lot like Christmas

Happy Thanksgiving!

Yummmm! I'm still stuffed from Thanksgiving, and what's even better is all the leftovers we have in our fridge! My parents and brother came over for Noah's first Thanksgiving. They brought down with them all the food so the only thing we had to supply was my table and chairs! Noah's favorite part of the weekend was clearly the brand-new three week old puppies that Danny brought over. He would just sit in front of the gate and stare at them, maybe he felt a sense of camaraderie with them as they were babies as well! At any rate, the weekend was filled with lots of good food, warm & fuzzy feelings, and lots and lots of babies...

For the past week or so, Noah has been on the verge of crawling! He can shimmy himself backward, and has almost figured out how to go forward (yikes!). Then he gets up on all fours and wobbles, not quite sure what to do next. He particularly enjoys reaching for the gross, slobbery dog toys. Yuck. You can see his little tooth in this picture!


Another thing he enjoys is being on the outside of the bouncer. He thinks that actually sitting inside it is soooo last month.

I don't even know what to say...

He finally finished a meal! So far, the only thing he's given a chance is rice cereal. I think that half of it ended up on his face and bib, but it's progress!

we have a tooth!

A few days before Halloween, Noah had been unusually fussy. We couldn't figure out what happened to our happy baby...and then we found it ('P' to be exact)! After we had gone trick-or-treating, we peered into his mouth at bathtime and there she was! The next one is about to pop through soon as he is constantly chewing on whatever he can get his hands on. His favorite is when I give him a teething ring that has been chilled in the fridge.
