Her favorite time of day is bathtime...If ever she's fussy, you can calm her down immediately by placing her in her bathtub. I can't remember a time that she's ever protested getting washed!

Matt's parents came down for a visit last weekend, and boy, did Noah have a ton of fun! I'm so disappointed with myself that I didn't take more pictures, but I can tell you that fun times were had by all. Noah was taken on lots of walks/runs, and Emme had lots to say to grandparents. Thanks so much for coming to visit and we can't wait to see you again soon!

Noah's best friend Ethan turned two this past week, so we went to his party on Sunday. The boys chased each other around, played with bubbles, and had a marching band going. Noah was yelling "I'm gonna get you" to Ethan as he ran after him. So much fun!

Easter Weekend

We had a very busy Easter weekend...It started out at the Aquarium of the Pacific with the Wilkinsons on Sabbath, and then brunch with an egg hunt at their house on Sunday. Noah just loves Ethan so much. When we tell him that he's going to see Ethan, he says "Yaaaaayyy Ethan!" Noah even includes him in his prayers sometimes (after the egg hunt on Sunday, Noah prayed for the eggs and Ethan :)). It's so neat to see the boys interact more and play together.

My dear baby boy is now 2...I feel like all the "babyness" is slipping away all too fast. He's all about cars, trucks, trains, and helicopters. Running, jumping, and throwing balls outside are just some of his favorite activities. He's getting good at linking 2 to 3 words together to make simple sentences. And he's such a good brother to Emme, it melts my heart watching him interact with her.
Tantrums are also a common sight around here. He was having a difficult time cooperating with timeouts, so I got a little mat for him to sit on to help him understand that he needed to stay put when being disciplined. The plan has backfired on me because now he carries the mat around with him when placed in timeout, thinking that all is ok as long as mat is in hand. I had to stop myself from smiling the first time it happened.
We threw him a barnyard themed party with family and some friends from Sabbath School. A few of my closest friends from hygiene school also showed up to wish him happy birthday. I was so excited to see how he would respond to cake, but he wasn't interested at all...I'm guessing that once he realizes how delicious it is, he'll change his mind!
