Cabo Days 6,7

Our last two days in Mexico have been spent just lounging about the resort and going on long walks along the beach. I just hate it how fast vacations seem to fly by. At least we have another vacation next week and get to see family!



He still doesn't like the sand, actually, he found it quite offensive that we would actually set him down in it.


The hotel courtyard is lined with all these cool rocking chairs for people to lounge in. We found some that were just his size!


Every day we tell him not to go into the shower to play, yet everyday, he chooses to. Here he is looking guilty as charged!


For our last dinner, we decided to go out and eat...we ate right by the ocean - absolutely gorgeous. Noah looks rather disgruntled here but I promise you he was enjoying himself too!

Cabo Days 4,5

We're continuing to enjoy the sun and water! We attended a timeshare presentation this morning in exchange for free stuff, so that was satisfying. It was supposed to be a 90 min tour with breakfast, but the guy finished in about an hour, so that was even better (he must've known we were only interested in the free food)! Noah's hair is continuing to get out of control...but I can't bear to cut it. My dad compared him to Beethoven the other day :).

Cabo San Lucas, Days 1-3

Our trip started out great....Noah is turning out to be such a good traveler, he even fell asleep on the plane ride over! Our resort is seriously one of the nicest places I've ever stayed in. I think our suite is bigger than our house and even has a hot tub on our balcony. We got lucky and are staying in a building with sweeping views of the Pacific. We go to sleep listening to the waves crashing. I don't know if you read this or not Auntie Soonnam, but thank you so so much for letting us use your timeshare! We've gone to the pool several times now, and it turns out we have a little water baby. After watching Matt put his head under water, Noah started copying him and puts his little mouth and nose in! Because he's so active during the day exploring and swimming, he sleeps great...we've put his crib in the second bathroom (yes, it's that big). Here's a few pics of our trip so far...

Trenton, Rylan, and Auntie Rachel stopped by our house for a visit! It was way too short, but we're so glad that they did. All three boys had a ball taking turns pushing each other around in Noah's wagon.



After family left, we headed off to a birthday party at MyGym. Now that Noah is so mobile, it's getting hard to keep up with him there. His favorite is the ball pit, and any chance he can, he runs over to the stairs to climb in. Unfortunately, he doesn't go in there and play nicely with the balls like the other kids...Noah likes to take one ball in each hand and chuck the balls outside the pit as fast as he can.

~Walking is now the choice mode of transportation. He wants to walk...everywhere.
~He's developed a standard grin that he likes to show off when I pull out the camera. I'm having a hard time getting casual smiles from him when the cameras out.


~Baby sign language has been an easy way to communicate during meal time. I'm no longer frantically guessing what he wants. He signs "more" and "milk" (which he thinks is milk or water).


~There's still an obsession with balloons going on over here. He loves to drag them around the house, sometimes even holding on to them during meals. It doesn't matter if the helium is losing it's steam...he loves them till the bitter end.
