labor day weekend

Noah's first labor day weekend was spent with his Halmuni & Halabuji, and his Uncle Danny...what a special treat to have everyone travel over to spend time with him. N was never in need of being held as he was passed to and fro from loved one to loved one. He got bedtime stories from halmuni, watched car racing with his Uncle, and hung out with Halabuji while his mom and grandma tried on clothes! What a fun-filled weekend, Thanks for coming down!

This past weekend, our family traveled up to Napa for Shawna's wedding. She married the nicest guy and had the most beautiful wedding at a private residence. Thanks for letting me share in your special day!
Unfortunately, Noah's bed time is around 7:30, so he was sir-grump-a-lot by the time the reception rolled around. Plus, the winds were picking up and it was sooo chilly! Matt gets the daddy of the year award for being so willing to take N during the rehearsal dinner, wedding, and reception. It was such a treat to be able to reconnect with my girlfriends!

For the past week or two, baby N has been obsessed with his feet. He spends his days rolly-pollying about on the floor, clutching his feet. On another note, N had his first Gymboree class last night. It was scheduled during one of his naptimes and he had a meltdown with a capitol M. We thought that maybe we could distract him out of a nap with songs and playtime, but he wasn't having it. All he wanted was to be held and to be taken as far away from the Gymboree instructor as possible (It didn't help that the teacher's "baby" was a creepy looking clown doll). So much for early structured learning. Maybe we'll try again in a few months....or not...we'll see.

We had to say goodbye to our friends Greg and Melissa on Thursday...We're so excited for them as they start the next chapter of their lives in Japan, but selfishly, we're so so sad because we won't get to hang out with them anytime soon. Shucks.
