18 months

Noah had his 18 month wellness check today and I couldn't be more pleased....He's finally on the charts for his weight!!! You would've thought that his pediatrician told me that I won the lottery, I was so excited! Ok, it's only about the 8th percentile, but he's on it. He weighed in at 22.1 lbs and his height was 33.5 inches (70th percentile). Way to go little dude!

It's so hard to get a 'normal' smile from him these days. Whenever I say 'smile', or 'cheese', this is what we get...Here he is hamming it up before church today!

Pumpkin Patch

I can't believe it's already this time of year again....I feel like it was just yesterday that we took Noah to the pumpkin patch for the first time! The weather has cooled down (finally), so we decided to head over to the pumpkin farm with the Wilkinsons to get in the mood of fall...

It's so hard to get them to look and smile at the camera at the same time!

we love vacations

What a fun vacation we've had so far...We started off our week by heading over to Scottsdale to spend some time with Uncle Danny and Uncle Mark. We passed our days eating, shopping, swimming, and going to the train museum. Noah was loving all the attention he was getting from grandparents, and Matt and I were lucky enough to enjoy a date night at the movies!









After Arizona, we all headed down to the San Diego Zoo. It's fun to watch Noah's fascination with animals grow as he gets older. He was running around everywhere, squealing whenever he saw animals.







Finally, we capped off our week at the Long Beach Aquarium, where we escaped the heat of the Inland Empire. We decided to get season passes here as well, since Noah enjoyed himself so much. We're so lucky to live in an area with so many neat things for children to see!

1st haircut

Well, we finally did it...after months of putting it off, we decided to give our boy a little trim. We got it cut at this kid's salon where they had this cool little jeep that Noah could sit in. To be honest, I don't think he even noticed that he was getting a haircut, he was having so much fun. Meanwhile, I'm gasping and being dramatic about his hair being trimmed, he was having a blast! She cut less than an inch off, but I can definately tell...his curls are bouncier than ever.

This past Sabbath we headed down to San Diego Wild Animal Park. It was such a hot hot day, but we had so much fun. This park is so different than the San Diego Zoo, with different things for kids to do. It took Noah about 15 min. to warm up to the baby deer to feed and pet them. He's such a cute little scaredy cat! His favorite thing to look at this time were the monkeys - everytime they would jump from limb to limb, he would squeal out in laughter. His least favorite part of the day? That would be the carousel ride. He clutched on to me so tight and whined the entire ride. My favorite part? He wanted to hold hands and walk the entire time...so sweet.

it's official

She's still a she! We had our official U/S today and we're so happy to say that she looks perfect and healthy. Noah was a little scared of being in the room, so Matt couldn't stay very long, but he was able to see the baby in 3/D before he left. The technology is amazing....we got to see her sweet little mouth and nose. God truly is good!

And finally, this child is already a little cleaner! He loves to point out lint on the floor, and will pick it up and go throw it in the trash. Sometimes, if his hands are dirty with food, he demands that I wipe them clean before he picks up more food. Here he is helping me get the house ready for Sabbath today...
