bathtime

Noah is still taking his baths in the sink! We keep talking about making the switch to the tub, but Matt and I have his bath down to a science. We can get him bathed in about 2 minutes. It's been so convenient, but he's definately getting rather big to be in the sink.
Also, Noah starts his swim lessons on Monday. They're scheduled right at dinner time, so hopefully he will adapt fairly easy with an earlier dinner. He loved being in the water in Mexico, so hopefully he will enjoy himself!

OC Fair

Since the weather has been so so hot lately, we decided to escape the heat this past weekend and head out to the Orange County Fair. It was only 80 degrees there compared to the 106 over here, so it felt great! First, we visited the petting zoo where we got to feed baby goats, llamas, and sheep. Noah was not thrilled about getting too close to the animals. All animals were still 'dogs' to him, and he wouldn't stop pointing and calling everything dogs! Afterwards, Matt and Noah rode a few children's rides. Noah was a bit of a scaredy cat when it came to the rides...he held on for dear life during most of it. His favorite was clearly the train, where there were buttons inside that he could push that made animal noises. Matt and I got our unhealthy dose of fried food and ended the day with the biggest stuffed frog I've ever seen that Matt won at the game booth. A very fun family day that left us all exhausted.

to cut or not to cut....

The boy's hair is seriously getting out of control. Matt and I have been debating daily about whether we should trim it or not. Matt doesn't want to touch it, but I think that a one-inch trim would do the child good. Maybe it's just in that awkward stage when it's not quite long enough...

In Korean culture, one bows when saying hello, especially to an elder or a respected person. Noah likes to use his knees to really get into it, it's too funny! In this shot, he's got the hiccups too!

Cabo Days 6,7

Our last two days in Mexico have been spent just lounging about the resort and going on long walks along the beach. I just hate it how fast vacations seem to fly by. At least we have another vacation next week and get to see family!



He still doesn't like the sand, actually, he found it quite offensive that we would actually set him down in it.


The hotel courtyard is lined with all these cool rocking chairs for people to lounge in. We found some that were just his size!


Every day we tell him not to go into the shower to play, yet everyday, he chooses to. Here he is looking guilty as charged!


For our last dinner, we decided to go out and eat...we ate right by the ocean - absolutely gorgeous. Noah looks rather disgruntled here but I promise you he was enjoying himself too!

Cabo Days 4,5

We're continuing to enjoy the sun and water! We attended a timeshare presentation this morning in exchange for free stuff, so that was satisfying. It was supposed to be a 90 min tour with breakfast, but the guy finished in about an hour, so that was even better (he must've known we were only interested in the free food)! Noah's hair is continuing to get out of control...but I can't bear to cut it. My dad compared him to Beethoven the other day :).
