nothing beats family

After celebrating our anniversary, we spent some time with Matt's family in the Sacramento area. Every time we visit, we always have such a good time, and it felt good knowing that we will soon be in the area so that the visits can happen more frequently!

Rylan introduced Noah to computer games....it was so cute hearing Noah cheer Rylan on one minute, then sympathize with him the next.

Noah is still talking about the train museum that we visited. I couldn't get him to stand still for one picture. He spend the entire time running from one display to the next.

He convinced Grandad for one last round of car racing before we left!

Happy Father's Day/Happy Anniversary

This past Sunday was a double blessing for the Sanders family...not only was it Father's day, it was our 6th anniversary as well. After we had breakfast with my parents, Matt and I were lucky enough to spend a night in the beautiful Napa Valley with only Emme in tow. My parents graciously offered to watch Noah for the night, and before they dared change their minds, we got out of the house quickly! One of my favorite parts of the trip was revisiting Meadowood, which is where we got married. We really had the best time, but we sure missed Noah...everything seemed eerily quiet without him.

Legoland

What a fun trip! We weren't sure how Noah would respond to Legoland because of how Disneyland went, but we all had SO much fun!!! He was running from one place to another, yelling at all the different things to look at, having the time of his life. We spend the first day at Legoland, and then went to Legoland's Sealife aquarium the following day.


He went on this train ride at least 5 times!



He was so exhausted mid day, he took a quick nap in the stroller...

Noah loves to sing...when he's playing with his toys, he's always singing a little ditty to himself. His favorite songs are "Sabbath is a Happy Day", "The Wheels on the Bus", "ABC Song", and "Row Row Row Your Boat". Whenever I've taken out the camera to record him, he always stops, but this morning, he was quite cooperative! I'm so excited to have gotten this on camera, I know it's one of those things I'll watch when he's a teenager to remind me of what a sweet boy he is!

Emme has rolled over a few times now, but I finally caught it on camera...Gooooo baby Emme!

So proud of you!

Matt graduated this past weekend!!! He's such a hard working and dedicated person, I hope he knows how proud we all are of this major accomplishment. He's juggled being an amazing father, wonderful husband, all while being an awesome student :)! The end is finally in sight, and we were lucky enough to celebrate it with family.



We set up a picnic on the nearby grass to watch the ceremony. It was so much fun!

Trenton is the best babysitter!

fun and flu

Last weekend, we went on an impromptu mini getaway to Dana Point. We had such a fun afternoon at the beach followed by a delicious dinner back in our room. We had big plans to go the local children's museum the following day, but Matt came down with the stomach flu... Long story short, out little family has all taken turns suffering from it and we are finally starting to feel human again.

Ha! Trying to get a 2 year to stay still for a picture is impossible!
