Noah's 1st Christmas - Part Duex

The second half of Christmas was spent at Grammie and Grandaddy's house. Noah was so stimulated by watching his cousins open presents he nearly forgot about his own. Luckily, his cousins were on hand to help tear the packages open!
Noah has been army crawling for awhile now, but it was at Grammie and Grandaddy's that he got the hang of using his hands and knees. He would be-bop his way over from toy to toy while us parents and grandparents cheered and clapped. Unfortunately, all the cheering and clapping would not get him to eat solids...we even had cousin Trenton dancing for him - those lips were like Fort Knox, nothing was getting through that mouth!
Another fun thing Matt and I did was see a movie at the theater together. Grammie and Grandaddy graciously offered to watch Noah, and we jumped at the chance! Thanks so much Grammie and Grandaddy for the fun week...can't wait to see you soon!

Noah's 1st Christmas - Part I

The first part of Christmas was spent up in Lake Tahoe with Halmuni and Halabuji. Matt and I got to go snowboarding together while Noah spent the day playing with the grandparents. Needless to say, we had a blast! It was definately one of the highlights of our trip. For as long as I can remember, I've gone to Lake Tahoe each Christmas and it was so nice to continue the tradition with my baby boy. We can't wait to strap a snowboard to his feet and teach him!
During this time, Noah developed an interesting connection with his Halabuji. Everytime Noah saw him, he would start growling. Then my dad would growl back, Noah would respond...back and forth. It was the funniest thing! He would only growl at Halabuji, no one else...my dad got the biggest kick out of it! What a funny child.
Thanks Halmuni and Halabuji for the fun time in the snow. Hope you're having a great time traveling!

1st annual gift exchange

Ethan and Noah had their first annual gift exchange this past weekend. We had it a bit early because Noah and I flew up to Nor-Cal to hang out with Halmuni & Halabuji before they left for their big trip! We were going to drive up with Matt this week, but we all know what car trips are like with Noah...
Ethan busted into his package with vigor, while Noah needed much coaxing. What matters though is how much he loves his new toy...Thanks Ethan - you rock!

here comes santa claus...

Noah met Santa for the first time this weekend! We were a little nervous that he was going to be frightened by Santa, but that was clearly unnecessary....Noah was loving it! He couldn't get enough of Santa's great furry coat and was enjoying running his fingers through the fur. I think we could've left him there and he wouldn't of even noticed we were gone! Afterwards, he enjoyed his ride on the carousel and spent the entire time "jumping" up and down on my lap.

The photographer who does the display photos at the little boutique I work at offered to take a mini photo shoot of our family. Since her prices are normally so extravagant, I happily obliged! We had such a good time and Noah especially enjoyed cruising around in the carriage.

He learned how to wave bye-bye! It's so cute, even when he's watching a video of himself, when he hears the "bye-bye" part, he waves at the computer screen!
