Let me start out by saying that my son did not inherit the following trait from me. When Noah first started acting like this, I was so confused, but Matt was quick to tell me that he used to do all sorts of crazy things to amuse himself and others when he was really little. Whew.
Lately, when Noah wants to get attention, he tenses his little body up and shakes. He'll also do it when I ask him to do something he doesn't want to do, as a way of distracting me. We think it's pretty hysterical, and it's obvious he does as well!
I love this video! Audrey used to do the same thing, and I remember thinking there was something wrong. Clearly it is a sign of massive intelligence ;)
