Sabbath at the park

We had the most lovely picnic at the park today. The weather was just perfect, the baby ducks were out and the food was delish! Noah caught a few zzz's while we read on a blanket. Reading has become a rare treat ever since we had Noah! After our picnic, we stopped by the local coffee house and treated ourselves to a blended mocha milkshake. What a perfect Sabbath afternoon.

is it 2 months already?!?

Noah had his 2 month check this week with his pediatrician and we're happy to report that everything looks great! He weighs in at a whoppin 10lbs 11ozs (20th percentile) and is now 24 inches long (90th percentile!!!). Way to go Noah! While we're so excited and pleased with how much he's grown, I couldn't help but feel sad as I packed away some of his newborn clothes that don't fit him anymore. I held the clothes up in the air, shaking my head in disbelief that he actually used to be swimming in them! I can't believe our sweet baby is 2 months old already...

my daddy cracks me up

Today I babysat baby Ethan for a bit, and I had a glimpse of what life would be like with twins. Luckily, there were only a few moments where I felt panic stricken when both the babies were whining. All I can say is this, God knew what He was doing when He blessed us with one child.

the magic wrap

It's official. I heart the moby wrap. Since using the wrap, I've been able to do the dishes, vacuum, cook....all while holding him and using both hands! The best part is how much he loves it. Within minutes of being placed in it, he falls asleep. Ahhhhh....sweet relief. Filled with confidence, I even agreed to a shopping trip to Target today with Laura. Here's evidence of our success!
