wanted: longer naps please

Is it just me, or are his naps getting shorter and shorter? I swear he used to sleep at least an hour each naptime. Now, I'm lucky if he gets 30 mins per nap. Hmmm...must be a growth spurt. It's funny how Matt and I blame every anomaly on a growth spurt. "Oh, we had to cut Noah's fingernails twice in one week ....hmmm..must be a growth spurt." or, "Wow, Noah woke up every hour last night wanting food...hmm..must be a growth spurt." At this rate, our son is going to be 20 feet tall.

so much love, so little time

Noah has spent the past few days receiving so much love from his Grammie and Granddad. He got to spend some time with his cousins Elijah, Isabel, La-La, Trenton and Rylan! Thanks for all the love and we hope we can see you again real soon - xoxo

To Noah's Daddy,

the sniffles

These last few days our poor baby has got a bit of a cold. He wakes up in the morning with the snottiest nose, but still manages to put a smile on his face. Every now and then he'll even throw in a cough for good measure, as if to say "mom, I really am sick..." Because he feels under the weather, he's been sleeping so much during the day that I actually wish he'd wake up just so I can play with him (well, almost...it is rather nice being able to get some things around the house done)!


When he is awake, I still make sure he gets his daily tummy exercises. Look at how strong he's getting!

He still protests every time I put him on his belly for exercise time, but hey, can you blame the guy? Who likes to work out?!?

Sabbath at the park

We had the most lovely picnic at the park today. The weather was just perfect, the baby ducks were out and the food was delish! Noah caught a few zzz's while we read on a blanket. Reading has become a rare treat ever since we had Noah! After our picnic, we stopped by the local coffee house and treated ourselves to a blended mocha milkshake. What a perfect Sabbath afternoon.
